Today prompt is the following: “A kid comes out of the school bathroom with toilet paper dangling from his or her waistband.<\/em>” My fantasy went really funny yesterday, so my souliton is about a strange monster who lives in the school bathroom. You can find Fanni’s piece in Ink, Maps and Macarons<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mai kih\u00edv\u00e1sunk a k\u00f6vetkez\u0151:”Egy gyerek kis\u00e9t\u00e1l az iskolai WC-b\u0151l, de WC-pap\u00edr l\u00f3g a nadr\u00e1gja korc\u00e1b\u00f3l.” Tegnap vicces kedvemben voltam, \u00edgy egy furcsa sz\u00f6rnyr\u0151l \u00edrtam, aki az iskolai WC-ben tengeti a napjait. Fanni megold\u00e1s\u00e1t az Ink, Maps and Macarons <\/a>oldalon tal\u00e1lhatj\u00e1tok.<\/p>\n

The Toilet Monster<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sharp laughter echoed through the bright school corridor. Noah\u2019s face immediately turned red immediately, but he didn\u2019t understand why every other kid pointed their fingers at him. Then he noticed the grey chunk of toilet paper attached to his waistband. Noah\u2019s heart pounded hard in his chest. He grabbed the paper really angry and threw it towards the other kids. A little girl started singing a non-existent, irritating song in a squeaking voice.<\/p>\n

Noah let the air out of his lungs and walked away. He didn\u2019t want to care about the others, because today he was a true hero. He was the only one who was brave enough to protect the students from the monster who lived in the sewage under the Third Street Elementary School.<\/p>\n

It was a bright, sunny autumn day when Noah rushed into the first floor boy\u2019s restroom after his stepmother mixed the orange juice with whole milk. She knew about Noah\u2019s sensitive stomach but she did it on purpose. Noah turned ten year old that particular day, it should have been a wonderful day, not a stomach wretched one. But it wasn\u2019t the only shock.<\/p>\n

He checked the time on his watch, he was running late. He flushed the toilet in the empty bathroom when a horrifying sound ran down the pipes. The deep murmur shook the weak walls of the school. Noah yanked up his pants and peaked out from the booth.<\/p>\n

The sound was terrifying and not natural at all. Noah stood up on the toilet when the monster slid under the booth walls. It was brown and liquid, it seemed sticky and dangerous. Noah couldn\u2019t think: his hands were shaking when the monster slipped close to him.<\/p>\n

But it was his birthday. He just couldn\u2019t die on his tenth anniversary on Earth. He held the toilet paper in his hands and started to roll down the paper then threw it towards the monster. It wasn\u2019t enough but when the little boy started to pour his acidy orange juice on him, the monster started to fizzle. His stepmother had put another bottle of juice in his backpack earlier that morning. The smell was horrible, like the depth of the sewer system.<\/p>\n

Noah held his hand in front of his mouth and watched the thing until it disappeared. That\u2019s why he had a piece of toilet paper on his waistband.<\/p>\n

And it was just the first two hours of his tenth birthday.<\/p>\n

A kisfi\u00fa keze azonnal megremegett.<\/p>\n

De nem halhatott meg pont a sz\u00fclet\u00e9snapj\u00e1n, \u00e9pp a tizedik \u00e9vfordul\u00f3j\u00e1t \u00fcnnepelte a F\u00f6ld\u00f6n. Megragadta a WC-pap\u00edrt, letekerte \u00e9s a sz\u00f6rnyeteg fel\u00e9 dobta. Ez m\u00e9g nem volt el\u00e9g, ez\u00e9rt a fi\u00fa a t\u00e1sk\u00e1j\u00e1ban tal\u00e1lhat\u00f3 narancslevet kezdte \u00f6nteni az undorm\u00e1nyra, mire az sisterg\u0151 hanggal old\u00f3dni kezdett. A szag borzalmas volt, mintha a csatorna m\u00e9ly\u00e9r\u0151l t\u00f6rt volna el\u0151.<\/p>\n

Noah a sz\u00e1ja el\u00e9 kapta a kez\u00e9t, \u00e9s figyelte, ahogy a l\u00e9ny lassan elt\u0171nik. \u00cdgy esett, hogy a pap\u00edr a nadr\u00e1gja korc\u00e1ban v\u00e9gezte, \u00e9s ez csak az els\u0151 k\u00e9t \u00f3r\u00e1ja volt a tizedik sz\u00fclet\u00e9snapj\u00e1nak.<\/p>\n
